Playdate

This week I went to play with my friend Anastasia. It was our third playdate, but really the first one where I could talk to Ana. Mommy enjoyed getting out of the house and seeing Mrs. Elise. She thinks its funny how fast I am catching up to Ana's size when I am almost five months younger!

One Little, Two Little, Three Little Indians

We have been doing lots of fun things the past couple of days. Mommy realized that she can do more fun things with my hair. I don't see what is so exciting about all of my hair, I just like to pull at it while I play on my mat. I mean what are pigtails anyway....

I'm also learning to mimic mommy and daddy when they play little indians with me!

Baby Shoes Are Impossible.

 So mommy has started letting me sit in my bumbo seat a couple of minutes every day. I really like it when she sits on the floor with me. I even decided to coo at her for the first time this way. Normally I only coo at lights or ceiling fans because they are so fun!

I'm an outdoor girl! I love sitting on the back porch and watching the clouds and birds.

My Uncle Matt got me this kitty before I was born. He's my sleeping buddy in my crib, because I get upset if I'm not cuddling with something.

Today mommy put shoes on me for the first time. She said they were more trouble than it was worth. I kicked them off after about five minutes. Luckily mommy got a picture with her phone before it was over!

Humming

Yesterday was a very fun day for my mommy! It was her first Mother's Day so me and daddy made her breakfast and let her sleep in! She really enjoyed the extra rest! This is her new favorite picture of me and a fun video of me humming myself to sleep.

Two Month Checkup

So mommy and daddy took me for my two month checkup on Tuesday. I like my doctor. She is really sweet and I like that she talks to me the whole time. She said I was 12.2 pounds and 22.5 inches long this time! I'm growing so fast!!! The rest of my visit was pretty rough, because I had to have two shots and some liquid stuff that they made me swallow. It didn't taste anything like milk! I cried until all of my breath ran out but then daddy took me outside and I calmed down. That night I slept through the night from 10:00 until 5:30 (mommy got really mad at daddy's alarm clock for ruining my good sleep). I just needed all that rest after such a hard day.

I love watching mommy and daddy in the mirror while I take baths. My fishy towel keeps me warm. Its my favorite. I like to kick out my feet and relax in the warm water!
