Part of the Louisiana Fan Club

I got some very special visitors for Veteran's Day weekend. Mommy's best friend from USM and her husband came all the way from Louisiana just to meet me. We had such a fun time showing them all of the things I can do and taking them to St. Augustine. They brought me an LSU bear that Mommy reluctantly let me play with (sorry Uncle Matt). I really enjoyed having some new friends to play with and I can't wait to see them again!

Finally getting some love after I let her take me

My first beardly friend. I liked it.

In St. Augustine there was a goat

I liked him a lot

Fall

Its been getting cooler lately and a couple of leaves are falling from the trees. Mommy can't wait to bundle me up all the time, but so far there have been more warm days than cold. The holidays are approaching very fast, and I am changing so much! Here are some fun things I've done this month.

Waiting for my Veteran's Day visitors

Mommy let me hold this leaf. It was very interesting.

Playing peekaboo while Mommy folds clothes.

One of my favorite new things to do is pull up and stand at the couch. Daddy joined me this time.

Pulling up in my crib

Yay! I can clap!

Swinging on a porch swing with Mommy and Daddy and waving at the camera

We did bubbles for the first time at the library. I loved watching them and trying to pop them!

Sometimes I like to wait for someone to come get me out of my crib

Mommy and Daddy weren't expecting this yet. I haven't even starting crawling forward...
READY OR NOT! Here I come!!!

Halloween

Happy November! I'm 8 months old today! I hope everyone had a fun Halloween. I know I sure did. Mommy kept me dressed up off and on all week. I had a black kitty cat onesie with ears and I didn't even try pulling them off. My real costume was supposedly a pink kitty, but everyone thought it looked more like a mouse or an otter. Halloween night I went trick or treating at a Moose lodge. It was perfect for me, because I can't really eat candy yet, but I could ride in my stroller and see all the other kids in their costumes. Plus, all of the old people thought I was super cute so they gave Mommy and Daddy candy anyway. Even some of them were dressed up! We had lots of fun and I can't wait to go back next year!

This is what I wore all day around town.

Poppa thought I was a cute kitty cat

Putting on my costume before we went out.

At first I wasn't so sure about this Trick or Treat thing.

Happy Halloween!
